I am very sad to announce the discontinuation of the Android version of Seerah Quiz. Unfortunately, the app is being removed from the Google Play Store soon, and I am not sure whether this will be permanent or not. For the time being, it is a permanent discontinuation. So if you delete the app, you will probably not be able to download it again.
Alhamdulillah, the web app (which is now at web.seerahquiz.com) is still working, and I plan to make future updates there, inshaAllah. The web app will be directly available on the domain seerahquiz.com.
My plan was to upload the app's code files on GitHub and make it Open Source so I could upload safe updates to the app on the app's website. However, that plan failed after I was not able to add Push Notifications to this version (1.7.0), which would send a notification when a new update was uploaded to the website. Due to this, I do not currently plan to update the Android app and upload the APK files on the website since you would not know when to check the website for updates. However, if I change my mind on this, it will be announced on the website (about.seerahquiz.com), inshaAllah. I will also upload this version of the app to app.seerahquiz.com, so it can be downloaded.
I apologize for any inconvenience this might bring. I am also deeply saddened by this. However, when one door closes, another opens by the will of Allah, The Almighty, The Most Merciful. I am grateful to Allah and honored that He allowed me to make this for our Beloved, Master, and Prophet, Rasulullah ﷺ.
Updates:
- Added a 'Next' button after every quiz that goes directly to the next quiz in the sequence. Thanks to Anas Arif for this great suggestion! He had more very good suggestions, but this was the only one I had time to implement, unfortunately.
- Fixed some typos and errors.

I know there hasn't been a single update for literally half a year, but I am extremely thankful and happy to announce that, with the permission of Allāh, I have managed to finish making questions about the complete Seerah of our Beloved Prophet ﷺ! There are 766 questions in total, each dedicated to learning about the Prophet ﷺ, his ﷺ time, environment, and last but not least, his ﷺ companions and family.
Allāhu Akbar! Words cannot describe how thankful I am to Allāh SWT for allowing me to accomplish this feat and finish this project which I embarked upon out of love for Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ. May Allāh make the reward for this humble effort, from me, a means to be with ar-Rafiq al-A'la and the Beloved Prophet ﷺ. Ameen!
Now that the main goal of this app has been achieved, I will not be able to provide updates for a while due to other obligations I currently have. The plan, in sha' Allāh, is to also add questions about the Ummahat al-Mu'mineen, Shama'il, Dalail of the Prophet ﷺ, and a trivia category about the Sahabah. As for when all of this will be completed, only Allāh knows.
To everyone who has contributed throughout the project: May Allāh SWT grant you the company of the Prophet ﷺ in the highest ranks. Besides that, thanks to ChatGPT for solving several coding issues, and sometimes giving ideas for questions! I also request your du'as. If you have benefited from this app, please make du'a for me and my family.
The following update includes:
1. Added questions about the Battle of Hunayn, Battle of Tabuk, Incidents towards the end of the life of the Prophet ﷺ (Towards the conclusion), and The Greatest Calamity. To avoid dividing the last quiz into separate buttons, there are 26 questions in the last quiz called 'The return to his ﷺ Lord,' as it seemed more appropriate that way.
2. Now, you are no longer able to click on the information icon if you have not submitted your answer. If you have submitted your answer, you only need to click the icon from now on; you do not have to hold it pressed for 2 seconds as before.
3. Added a 'Next' button on the tutorial/onboarding page which performs the swipe for you. Also fixed the onboarding page when you access it via the 'About' section.
4. Added elongated vowel symbols for the most common Arabic words.
5. Fixed some dark mode color scheme problems.
6. Corrected errors and typos (Thanks to Yamin!).
I seek Allāh's forgiveness for any mistakes I have made. Every good comes from Allāh, and all shortcomings are mine and Shaytan's doing.

I have finally finished the Web version of 'Seerah Quiz', Alhamdulillah! This web version is available on all devices which has internet and a browser and should also be compatible with all screen sizes in sha'a Allah! So if you prefer to use it on your phone browser (including iOS) or on your computer, either are possible via the following website web.seerahquiz.com.
The plan in sha'a Allah is that everytime I add questions to the Android App that I also update the Web version with the new questions. If the Web App does not display new content, the layout looks weird or some other issue is happening, please clear your browser cache and see if it helped. If it did not solve the issue, please contact me.
Besides the Web App I have also made an official 'Seerah Quiz' website which has information about the app, the progress so far, plans for the future and more. The website is seerahquiz.com.
This update contains:
- Fixed plenty of typos and minor errors which I found while adding the questions to the Web-App.

Alhamdulillah! I have been very productive this time since I have added 120 questions! This update contains:
- Added questions about the time between Sulh al-Hudaybiyyah and the Conquest of Makkah (which includes the Battle of Khaybar, Umrah al-Qada, Battle of Mu'tah, etc.).
- Added questions about the Great Conquest of Makkah! SubhanAllah while revising this incident I was really overwhelmed.
- Fixed some icon problems so all devices should show the same icons on the main page.
- Fixed some typos and minor errors.
I will in sha' Allah in 1-2 months come with the next update which has questions about the time after the Conquest. We are almost there in sha' Allah.

Alhamdulillah 'alaa Kulli Haal! I know it took me long but I finished adding questions about Sulh al-Hudaybiyyah. This update contains:
- Added questions about Sulh al-Hudaybiyyah.

Alhamdulillah! I finally finished the questions about the Battle of Ahzaab! The update contains the following new things:
- Added questions about the Battle of Ahzaab and the aftermath.
- Made expandable/collapsible accordions on the main page which are clickable. They were added since all the quiz buttons were taking up way too much space. Thanks to Bubelle for this great idea! May Allah grant you Tawfiq, 'aafiyah and all the best. Bubelle was also the one to come with the idea of the Walkthrough/Tutorial activity when you open the app for the first time.
- Since the accordions were added, the Tutorial/Walkthrough has been updated.
- Fixed typos and minor errors.

I'm sorry for being this slow with a new update (again), but now it's here! I fixed some typos and added 30 questions. I know it's not alot but, I have not been near my computer for two months, so I was not able to do more. The update has the following new things:

I am sorry for being this slow with a new update but it's finally here! I fixed the bug I mentioned in Version 1.0.0 and did the following things:
- Added questions about the Battle of Uhud.
- Added a tutorial/walkthrough on how to use the app which appears the first time you open the app after installation. You can view the walkthrough again in the 'About the app'-section.
- Updated the 'About the app'-section to have buttons with pop-up messages instead of one big wall of text.
- Fixed errors and typos.
Today is the 1st Dhu'l Hijjah 1443 AH, which means we have entered the 10 most blessed days of the year. Remember to do loads of salah, du'as and other forms of 'ibaadaat. May Allah bless us all, grant us beneficial knowledge and 'aafiyah. May Allah accept the Hajj of our pilgrims and may Allah accept our ud'hiyyah done fi sabeelillah.

This is the first version of the app which is public. The plan is to make questions about all of the Seerah, but I have decided to update the app with questions regularly and already release it from now. On the day of Badr, Yawm al-Furqan, 17th Ramadaan.
